U.S. Census Bureau Releases 2020 Census Count
for the District of Columbia
The U.S. Census Bureau has released its population counts from the 2020 Census. According to 2020 Census count, the District of Columbia
has a population count of https://www2.census.gov/programs-surveys/decennial/2020/data/apportionment/apportionment-2020-tableE.pdf, which is an increase of 14.6 percent. The 2020 DC Census resident population is 689,545 compared to the 2010 Census Resident of the District at 601,723. The U.S. 2020 Census population stands at 331,735,155.
The first 2020 Census state population counts will be used to apportion seats in the U.S. House of Representatives among the 50 states for the ten (10) years. The District of Columbia is not currently a state; however, the 117th House of Representatives has passed legislation to declare the District the 51st state of America’s Union.
The 2020 Census count may also be used to determine federal funding and may impact boundaries of District Wards and Advisory Neighborhood Commissions and Single Member Districts.

Uncle John's Homegoing Service will be on Friday, April 23rd at St.
Anthony's Catholic Church located on the corner of 12th and Monroe St. NE.
The viewing begins at 9 am and the Mass follows at 10 am.
His interment will follow the Mass at Mt. Olivet Cemetery located at Bladensburg Rd and West Virginia Ave NE.
For those who are unable to attend, the viewing and service will be live-streamed. I will share that information as soon as I receive it.
We wish to thank all of those who have come by to help and have volunteered to support the service and interment. Look for the announcement in the Washington Post no later than Thursday, April 22d. Please, continue to keep Paula, Andre, and their families in your prayers.

Uncle John's Homegoing Service will be on Friday, April 23rd at St.
Anthony's Catholic Church located on the corner of 12th and Monroe St. NE.
The viewing begins at 9 am and the Mass follows at 10 am.
His interment will follow the Mass at Mt. Olivet Cemetery located at Bladensburg Rd and West Virginia Ave NE.
For those who are unable to attend, the viewing and service will be live-streamed. I will share that information as soon as I receive it.
We wish to thank all of those who have come by to help and have volunteered to support the service and interment. Look for the announcement in the Washington Post no later than Thursday, April 22d. Please, continue to keep Paula, Andre, and their families in your prayers.

[WardFive] Funeral Service for John Washington
