Dear Calleva River School Friends - 

Reminder that the Canoe Cruisers Assoc (CCA) Downriver Race is coming up soon, Saturday June 5th. This is the 66th Annual race, and the longest continuously run downriver race in the U.S. Be a part of history, as a racer, or as a volunteer.

I could really use a few more on-water safety volunteers. If you are familiar with the Sandy-to-Sycamore section of the river, please consider signing up to be a safety boater. You get a super sexy long-sleeve lightweight shirt, picnic lunch at the finish line on Sycamore Island, and ice cream. How cool is that?!

All racers and on-water safety volunteers should fill out the ACA waiver online. There is no charge to use the ACA online waiver system.

We will shuttle up, and then run the entire race course together, working on safety and rescue skills along the way.
