Based on last year's experience - I expect LAKS Cheaters to stake out a community camping space at Teeters. Jill and I are planning to leave early Friday morning and will look for you. If you are planning to leave Thursday, let us know so we can look for signs of you/your vehicles/tents.
We can be contacted at our email addresses or T's 202-640-0203; J's 202-640-8035.
I'm still undecided for a pre-race run; but it seems like a great idea ... will decide once there, after I figure out camping, timing, shuttle availability, etc.
I'm looking for a driver able/willing to drive my stick-shift pick-up to the take out... (in case I can't drive it myself ahead of the race). And yes, extra beers come with that.... Also, will be able to return with extra boats and a few adventurous passengers in the back of the pickup.
Looking forward to another LAKS reunion... and will dearly miss you guys who can't come.

Hey there,
Regrettably, Cheat Training is officially over. Thanks to everyone
for making it safe, successful and so much fun! I think some of you
plan to attain tomorrow night. Please remember that there will not be
a shuttle from Carderock.
The Potomac Downriver Race is next weekend, 5/12. If you want more
information check out the CCA website or http://www.ccadc.org/downloads/DownriverNotice2012.pdf
It will be "fun" to get together for one more slow, grinding
death :)
Space remains in the Class III Club led by Todd Henry, starting 5/12.
We will be traveling to a different river each weekend including:
James near Richmond | Lehigh near White Haven | North Branch of the
Potomac near Bloomington | Lower Yough Ohiopyle | Savage at
Westernport | Maury near Goshen Pass. If you are not able to go away
for a weekend, you can instead stay and get your workout at Dickerson.
For those registered for Upper Yough Training, I will send more
information out later this week.
Good luck in the Cheat Race! I hope to see you this weekend.
Ashley McEwan
