That's one ugly looking tree! Looks like a utility pole from the picture, but I'll take your word for it.

Attached is a photo of one of your campaign signs stapled to a tree in the 300 blk Hawaii Ave NE, just past the rear entrance to the 7-11 strip mall.  I was down in that area about 1 hr ago.  This sign was not there yesterday, and was the 1st time I was at the strip mall today, so it may have been posted overnight or sometime earlier today.  The "tagging" on this tree is definitely new, but can't say if the person that posted your sign did the tagging.
 
I'm aware of all the W5 signs placed on the grass area of the mall, however, being posted on a tree here is not the norm, nor is it legal.  Providing notice to give you as chance to have it immediately taken down.  Thanks for your attention in this matter.  Don't want to have a precedent established.  We love our trees.
