Re: [WardFive] Ward 5 Special Elecion - Early Voting May 5th-12th

I have spent a lot of time following this campaign and
speaking/attempting to speak with various candidates. I have chosen to
support Kenyan McDuffie. I have spent many hours at events, and in the
campaign headquarters. I have been struck by the diversity of people
supporting Kenyan. Not only are we diverse in age, and race, but also
in life experience. Kenyan has supporters of all classes, and all
types. They gravitate to him because he is genuinely a good man with
great ideas for our ward, and the passion and dedication to make them
happen.

I hate that this election has sunk to the level of out and out race
baiting. It's repugnant when it comes from white southern republicans
and is directed at Blacks, or Latinos. It's equally repugnant in this
instance.
