[WardFive] Article from above!!

Hellooooooooooooooo Ward 5,

I hope some of the insensitive Buffoons (whoever you are) really read this and hear the cry of Tim Craig's Article in the Washington Post!!

Is Dan Monlux in the excerpt of article below related to Tom Bridge or connected as a Twitter follower.  Thanks DIRK!!!  Obviously the Gods heard your intention when you alerted the community about Tom's insensitive and threatening Tweets!! Like my daddy told me, keep shaking the tree, the fruit will fall. But forget the threat but I/we deserve some clarification on this tweet below.

Tom Bridge (@tbridge)

"Rob Ramson is a reason Ward 5 can't have nice things."

Tom, What do you mean by this tweet??? - is it that I am so violent that it scares White people and because I am not bowing down to "intellects" like you?  Is it that the Cafe and Inn aren't nice places or that the Vegan, grilled options, healthy choices of food including cooked to order spinach are just for Black people and there is a sign that says "Whites not allowed" or Treat White People Different" and that those choices for food at the Cafe is just a new name for "chicken feet" and "greens"? What is it?

Why is Rob Ramson a reason Ward 5 can't have nice things?  Do you even know how much effort and time I actually put into this community and money that I don't even have?  Please dig yourself out if you can.   It is a shame to know that someone like you is the new Vice President of Brookland Civic. There is a reason that I am not a member of Brookland Civic. Imagine them "choosing to have a no stance about the Brookland Cafe Liquor License 3 years ago up until now and I should be thankful"!!  With all the good comments and great addition to this community, one would think that the Organization would step forward and do its Civic Duty and Support the Cafe and stop silently supporting the Padous and Feeley!!

Show me how much your father taught you how to "own what's yours". Let Rob Ramson reiterate what Shakespear said - "to thy own self be true" - BE TRUE TO YOUR CORE TOM!!  Trust and believe its when adversity hits that true character comes forth!!  That's why you felt like punching me in the mouth - it's because you can't handle the truth and I am forcing you and the few others to deal with the demons of the past 400+ years and that Imperial Privilege thought pattern lingering inside of you!

And after all that you explain to me if I made a statement like you did because you "felt that way at the time" and you "said it" if the Cops wouldn't already be at my front door.

Peacefully asking, Pray tell me/us!

Read below and see what I have and others have been saying all the time about the "buffoon-like" comments and attitudes that many of you "new-comers" bring with you.

And I`m sympathetic to most of the concerns longtime residents raise in Craig`s story: development only
arrives when wealthy, white residents do, and it`s clustered around specific
parts of the ward (or city);
the institutions of power in the District lately
seem to be more responsive to new residents and their desires than to people
who`ve been here longer; everything`s getting too expensive, and jobs that pay
enough to afford the new houses are too hard to find.

Plus, some of the younger, newer Ward 5 residents quoted in the story sound like insensitive
buffoons
—take Dan Monlux, 35, who moved to the ward two years ago, and says of
the new construction: ``I think, culturally, it`s a good thing.`` Which raises
awkward questions about whether what was in the area before was, culturally, a
bad thing, and why
. When new arrivals to D.C. think like that, it only makes
the tension over gentrification and development worse.
