[WardFive] Congratulation to Mr. Kenyan McDuffie on winning the Ward 5 Special Election

Congratulations to Mr. Kenyan McDuffie for his victory last night and becoming the newest member of the DC Council.  Mr. McDuffie put together a good campaign that brought a coalition not only of key organizations and individuals in the Ward, but across the city.  We hope this united effort that worked well in a field of over 10 candidates, and that got him over 44% (http://www.voteresults.org/may152012.asp) of the total votes, is an indication of what he will do once he officially takes office.
