[WardFive] Re: [ward5] Candidates - please remove your elections signs!

Allison,

Understand your concern, however candidates have 30 days after an election to remove all signs.  Though we are only in the  2nd days after the elections, no matter the candidate, I have taken down some of the signs or removed yard sign that were on public space that I could that were not "super stapled" or "super taped" since there were some people who got their jollys off taking down candidates signs.  Hopefully others will join to assist in this process so W5 will be sign-free in short order.

From knowledge, I'm sure candidates are in the process of closing down their offices, finalizing paperwork, etc.  I was already told that McDuffie and Wilds already have crews assigned for this task.

Subject: [ward5] Candidates - please remove your elections signs!

Now that the election is over, please remove your candidate signs.  In a short walk in Eckington this morning I saw Zapata, Wilds, McDuffie, Hunter and other signs, even one for shadow Senator.

After the last election there were signs up for months - please be respectful of our community and take them down by the end of the weekend.  I can't imagine I'm the only person who remembers the candidates that left their signs up too long last time and therefore could not support them this go-round.
