cheat_training_group Watch and watch --- need GF Race volunteer

Hi, all...

I'm helping with timing/scoring for the Great Falls race this coming Saturday morning. I need someone to help me at the finish, manning a back-up watch and recording times and/or manning a radio.

It's not clear yet which lines the race will be using, as projections are right on the border. If it is Virginia, then no boating is required to assist, as we'll climb down from GF Park Virginia. If it is Maryland, then we'll have to attain up from Sandy Beach...easy, but requires a couple of portages. Depending on where we set the finish, there may be a strong ferry below Horseshoe required. (The biggest headache is carrying over the rock to get to Horseshoe --- not as hard if we don't need the boats.)

I just need one relatively detailed oriented person with a well-padded butt --- we'll be sitting on rocks for a while. If the race is on the Maryland lines, you'll need some boat skills. We'd rendezvous 7:00ish, race should start at 8:30, and we should be finished around 11:00, if all goes well. And sometimes it does. :-)
