Subject: WaPo presents Behind the Headlines community forum: Connecting the Dots in the District

From corruption scandals to debates over gentrification, jobs and schools, the District of Columbia government is constantly the focus of attention and controversy.  People who live and work here want to know how leaders can be made more accountable. These themes will be discussed in a Washington Post Behind the Headlines forum titled "Connecting the Dots in the District." The forum will feature results from a Washington Post poll of more than 1,000 adults living in the District.  

The discussion will be moderated by Robert McCartney, columnist and former assistant managing editor of The Washington Post.  Panelists will include Barbara Lang, president and CEO of the D.C. Chamber of Commerce; Kojo Nnamdi, host of "The Kojo Nnamdi Show" on WAMU radio; Carol Schwartz, a former D.C. Council member; and Clinton Yates, a Washington Post Express Editor and opinion writer for The Root DC.

Time:  6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  
 Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
