[WardFive] Reminder: DC Budget Town Hall with Elissa Silverman + Letter Petition to End Pay-to-play politics

Hello Community Members,

On Wednesday, May 8th, DC For Democracy is hosting a Budget Town Hall with Council member Elissa Silverman, from 630-8pm at Shaws Tavern. If you have any pressuring budget issues, now is the time to ask!

Also DC For Democracy is running a campaign to end pay-to-play in DC. They are asking for the DC Council to take action to ban second jobs for Council Members, restrict financial income and investments of Councilmembers from entities that do business with the city, and appoint  members to the Board of Government Ethics and Accountability .
