Thanks, Ashley. Depending on the size of our group I'm game for helping set up a separate shuttle just before the Savage takeout so we don't have to wait in the long, long shuttle lines…

[WardFive] THIS FRIDAY, Sept 29 - Press Conference, Peace Walk, & Sleep Out for Peace in Ward 5

Neighbors,

In light of recent tragic murders in Ward 5, Councilmember McDuffie, and community activists will be holding a press conference, peace walk and 'Sleep Out For Peace, Solidarity, and Solutions.'

This will take place tomorrow night, Friday, September 29 at 8:00 PM. The walk will begin at 6^th Street NE and Edgewood Street NE and end at the park at 13th Street NE and Downing Street NE, the location of Zaire Kelly's death. More details can be found on the attached flyer or at the link below.

Please join us for all or part of the walk, or bring your sleeping bag and sleep out.
