[WardFive] "Do Your Part" - DC Veterans (Pass it on)

Help preserve the stories of Washington's greatest generation veterans. The Library of Congress needs to ensure DC area veterans' voices are collected and heard. Our history's future is in your hands. Interview the WWII veteran in your life with the unique and rare opportunity to honor them by conducting and submitting the interview and/or narrative materials here at the Library of Congress through the end of this year.  E-mail vohp@loc.gov or call (202) 707-4916.   To participate click www.loc.gov/vets/kit.html .

In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, the legacy of William “Bill” Cafritz inspires the nation’s capital to capture the stories of local World War II veterans and to preserve them at the Library of Congress as part of the ongoing, now in its 15th year, Veterans History Project.
