Over the course of this campaign I've had the honor to knock on thousands of doors, phone bank with volunteers, speak at several community hosted forums and have been welcomed into dozens of homes for meet and greets. It has been an amazing experience to talk to Ward 5 residents everyday on the campaign trail about the changes we can make together. Through it all I've earned the support of Ward 5 champions Kenyan McDuffie (Councilmember, Ward 5) and Mark Jones (State Board of Education, Ward 5) and over a dozen Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners and community leaders. Additionally, Robert White (Councilmember, At-Large) wholeheartedly endorsed my campaign to be your next representative on the State Board of Education. While I view the endorsements from these elected officials as a sign of what we can accomplish together for Ward 5, on November 6th the only endorsement that will matter is yours.  With 1 day to go until Election Day, I humbly ask for your support. As a former policy analyst covering education, and member of the Board of Trustees at Two Rivers Public Charter School, I know that involved parents can make all the difference in their child's education.
