Swiftwater rescue training!

If you are paddling on the river regardless of class whitewater you should take a swiftwater rescue course. This course isn't so much for you as it is for the friends and family that paddle with. In our class we emphasis the hands on approach to rescue situations as well as self rescue. We also use all of our time on the river practicing rather than class time learning theory. It is a very involved class that I encourage everyone to do.
