The MLK Parade is excited to have The Children's Charities Foundation at our 2020 MLK Day Health and Community Fair at the end of the parade at the RISE Center. The Children's Charities Foundation will be donating brand new winter coats for the under-resourced children within your organization on parade day.
How to participate in the coat give-away:
- Identify the children 15 and under within your organization that have the greatest need for a brand new winter coat; It is not required a child marches in the parade to receive a coat
- Collect their name and size in a roster format – we will request a copy of this later
- Complete this online form by Wednesday, January 8th at 5:00pm
Please note, child must pick-up the coat in person at the Health and Community Fair at the end of the parade route in the parking lot of the RISE Center located at 2700 MLK Ave SE.
Additional details on how to pick-up the coats will follow closer to parade day.
