[WardFive] REMINDER: Taft Field & Playground Community Meeting

Dear Taft/Dwight Mosley Field Community,

The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and Department of General Services (DGS) invites you to attend the second planning and design meeting for the Taft/Dwight Mosley field and playground projects.

The field project team will present concept plans for the field based on comments we received at the first community meeting.

Additionally, as we mentioned at the first community meeting the DC Building Industry Association (DCBIA) annually donates time and material to a DPR project (site). The Taft/Dwight Mosley playground has been chosen for this year's project. DCBIA representatives will be present to reveal concept plans for the playground area, also based on the comments we received from the community.

Residents, community members and especially children are invited to attend and provide their comments on both concept plans. Please share information about the meeting and the attached flyer with your neighbors, family and friends.

Meeting information below:

Date: Wednesday, June 11, 2014
Time: 6:30 pm
Location: Perry School - 1800 Perry Street NE

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting. If you have any questions or concerns prior to the community meeting please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Commissioner Ursula Higgins
5B Correspondence Secretary
Single Member District 5B02
Telephone: 202-321-5289
