Is this the same organization that previously had a location in another part of the city?

-- --Dear Neighbors,The Langdon Park Community Association has been notified an ABC establishment has submitted an application to ABRA to operate in Woodridge/Langdon/Gateway. This nightclub establishment, Eritrean Cultural & Civic Center, would operate at 2154-2166 24th Place NE, in the abandoned warehouses near Club Bliss, Alternative Solutions marijuana cultivation center, and a new school. The establishment is looking to host up to 1,000 patrons with live music open until 2 AM Sun - Thurs and until 3 AM on the weekends. Our community is oversaturated with nightclubs and is at capacity. We are unable to accommodate another large scale establishment, as the infrastructure is not there to support it, particularly with regards to parking, trash, crime, and disturbance of the peace, order and quiet. LPCA is not anti-business, but rather we seek to diversify commerce in our area that also delivers benefits and value to the community. Another nightclub does not achieve that goal. Thus, the Langdon Park Community Association is collecting signatures for two petitions, one for Eritrean Cultural & Civic Center, and one for a moratorium on new nightclubs so we don't have to continue protesting every new application. Our community is extremely vulnerable to nightclub applications, given the number of abandoned warehouses and related facilities in our area.We need you, the residents, to voice your opposition to Eritrean and new nightclub establishments in our community by signing these two petitions. To make it as easy for your as possible, I will be at Zeke's Coffee this Saturday and Sunday morning 10am-12pm with the petitions for you to sign. It will take literally less than 60 seconds so please stop by! The deadline to submit our petitions is January 11, so time is of the essence. We also need to go door to door collecting signatures. Please let me know if you would be willing to collect signatures on your street and I will send you the petitions to print. We had over 200 signatures for the Sip petition; let's get that many and more for these petitions! Those who sign the petitions will enter a raffle for a $20 gift certificate to Zeke's, a $20 gift certificate to Good Foods Market, plus each household will receive one of our very popular Langdon Proud t-shirts! Who doesn't love free coffee, food, and clothes?I hope to see you on Saturday or Sunday morning. Please contact met with any questions and to volunteer to help.Best,JenniferVice PresidentLangdon Park Community Association
