I am pleased to announce that renowned musician, educator and band leader Bobby Felder is once again presenting his "Christmas Gospel Jazz Gala" this year on two different dates, at two different venues. The first performance will be at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 3rd and Q Streets, N.W., on Sunday, December 20, 2015, beginning at 6 pm. The second will be at Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, North Capitol Street and Riggs Road, N.E., on Thursday, December 24, 2015, beginning at 7 pm. This is the annual event that brings together some of Washington's finest jazz musicians and singers to perform many of your holiday favorites in jazz and gospel styles. Both events are free but the venues are churches so a free will offering will be taken at some point during each program. You are free to donate if you like but there will be no pressure to do so.
I am honored once again to have been asked to participate as one of Bobby's "friends" so please come to one or both of the events, bring your whole family and enjoy the music and the fun. I guarantee that a fine time will be had by all.
