Good morning Mrs. Shirley,
Thanks for the link to this Museum .... I love it!!!!!!
https://www.thenigerian.news/senegal-opens-worlds-largest-black-civilisation-museum-in-dakar/
It is amazing ... a building like this in Senegal, AFRICA ... imagine if the media and movies could portray some more of these images so that the world could have a better view of countries in Africa... tired of the continued brainwashing of a disparaged and impoverished view of Africa ("jungle" and Shanty towns) and in India. This should be on our National News!
So, I have 2 wishes for this information
1. I so wish that this Museum as well as all the other Museums in world have their countries artifacts returned to them ... that's where they belong other on if they are on special short term compensated display. However, most museums in countries like America, England, France, Spain, Portugal ... via Pilfering European Wars ("colonization") have stolen items which should be returned ... these items would better serve the community of countries from which they were stolen! It sure would return history to it's people and re-invigorate pride to the nations to which they belong.
2. We need this information to continuously proliferate the media so that all Americans, especially European Americans (including the ones who look like and pass as European Americans) can enhance their view of Foreign Nations (other than Italy, France, Vatican, England, Canada, Etc) as developed nations. It is a shame that this type of brainwashing still occurs in order to maintain control by the "imperial" and oppressive European dominated nations ... most all of their wealth, knowledge and development stolen in the first place!
Rob Ramson ... please forward out to other listservs!
