| Winter Not Giving Up Anytime SoonExpect Cold FebruarySnow and wind chill are back this week. More than a dozen District government agencies make up the DC Snow Team ensuring it's safe to travel after the end of a snow storm. Hundreds of District employees work tirelessly to resume normal government service and business commerce in an efficient, environmentally sustainable, and safe manner. Most importantly, District government can't do it alone. During winter, Mayor Bowser and Serve DC need your help clearing sidewalks and front walkways for our senior residents and those with access and functional needs. Civic groups, sports clubs, college students, and houses of worship are encouraged to sign up for the volunteer snow removal program. |
