Dear District Residents:
The Department of Public Works (DPW) has missed trash and recycling collections in some areas of the city due to recent inclement weather. Last weekend’s snow event left many District alleyways difficult for trash and recycling trucks to safely traverse. We are asking residents to leave their trash and recycling at their usual point of collection and we will collect by this weekend, wherever possible. DPW will not issue sanitation tickets to those residents whose regular collection has been missed.
We apologize for this delay and thank you for your cooperation and patience.
