Dear Cheat Trainers,

So now the Cheat Race is safely behind us, and everyone found some way to survive the high water,  it is time to say thank you to all of you who came with us on the Potomac and on the Cheat.   I hope that you find paddling this summer a little easier and more accessible with your improved boat control and physical conditioning.

Many thanks are due also to the trip leaders:  John, Sandrine, Kenny, Hank, Hollie, Todd, Jennifer, Jim, Juliana, and Diego.  

Results have not been published on the friends of the Cheat website or on Facebook. We will let you know when the official results are in.  

Randy and Chessa Lutter have kindly offered their house for a potluck  gathering to celebrate a fun and successful Cheat and Cheat Lite season.   The date is Saturday,  May 19 at 6:30 PM and the place is 5400 Blackistone Rd., Bethesda, MD 20816.  Late arrivals are OK, too!   Please let Ashley  in the office know if you will be coming and what food you will be bringing.

Thanks for your participation, hard work, help with shuttling, etc.!
