As you are now aware, there has been posts on the campaign signs and when they would be taken down. Though all candidates that used this strategy have 30 days to remove them, to assist in being environmentally friendly know that at the Ft. Totten Waste Transfer Station (WTS), there is a very large container on the main lot just for recycling. This can include the literatures and other documents. I just confirmed this with Kevin, DPW.
The station is open for these dropoffs on Saturdays, 8am-3pm, and Mon-Friday, after 1:00pm. It would be great if the candidates have their assigned teams, or just residents wanting to assist in this matter, taking these items to the WTS for proper disposal rather than placing them in others dumpsters, your regular trash cans, and so on when these produces can be recycled and reformatted for some other productive use.
What a great way to support our city's Green effort.
