cheat_training_group Fwd: DC Kayak

Hey All -
Sorry to blast you all, but I wanted to highlight this GREAT website that Todd - our revered instructor - developed. It has river levels, color codes for easy reading of what's hot and what's not, wee arrows to let you know the rising or falling level trends, and you can click on the column headings to organize the chart by that heading (river name, class, level, etc.).

If you click on the river name it takes you right to that river on the AW site. If you click on the river level you go directly to the gauge.

On another page it has playspots on the Potomac, all color-coded for easy reading. (unless you are red-green blind, in which case this will be only one more disappointing moments in your color history).

I've been using it all weekend, and i'm sold. I was having trouble finding a good all-around webpage. I've now put this webpage on my phone for easy access. Its free (not an app - just a webpage), its smart, and it wants to be used.

Enjoy!
