Dear Brookland community member, 

 

The District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and Department of General Services (DGS) would like to provide you with an update on Brookland Middle School and the Turkey Thicket Playspace projects. Through community meetings, phone calls, and emails we received impassioned feedback on the concept design plans for Brookland Middle School and the planned new PlaySpace at Turkey Thicket Recreation Center.

 

The next step in this process is a community meeting, which will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10 am at Turkey Thicket Rec Center in the gym.  During the meeting we will discuss the final footprint design of the school, address frequently asked questions that were not responded to at the previous meetings, and to discuss next steps for both projects.

 

Please share the attached flyer and letter with your friends and neighbors. We look forward to seeing you on the 20th.
