GNYAGG's Mission:  Serve as a voice and strategist to drive solutions, innovation, vision, and partnerships to create and maintain a signature New York Avenue Gateway Corridor that is family and age friendly, culturally and economically diverse, balanced, sustainable, and a great place to live, work, do business, invest, and enjoy. 

Additionally, GNYAGG's mission is to provide leadership, work collaboratively with groups, and engage stakeholders to:

• Build, connect, strengthen, and revitalize communities
• Attract and retain businesses
• Foster a creative economy (e.g., culinary arts, fashion design, media/sound production, software development, home design)
• Improve transportation, infrastructure, and streetscape (including public and playable art and a landmark gateway structure)
• Inform, educate, and represent the interests of local residents, businesses
• Expand economic and job opportunities
• Generate regional, national, and global appeal for dynamic Gateway Corridor.

During the last six years we have worked together to improve the quality of life   in the Trinidad  neighborhood.  The following highlights some of our   accomplishments over the last six years:

Cole Park Partnership  * American Planning Association (APA) Community Planning Workshop and Final   Report  * Neighborhood Clean Ups  * Gardening Workshops  * Public Art Projects  * Trinidad Garden Tour  * Beautification Projects  * Informative Community Meetings  * Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club Annual Youth Program Fundraiser Fiscal   Sponsorship  * Trinidad, Ivy City, Union Market History Project Fiscal Sponsorship    As we look ahead, we seek to continue the momentum, but we are only as strong as   our membership.
