The Yale Young Global Scholars Program (YYGS) is an academic and leadership-development program for talented high school students. YYGS is administered and hosted by Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and our two-week residential sessions in June, July, and August draw students together from all over the world.

Students currently in U.S. grades 10 and 11 (or international equivalents) are eligible to apply. Admission is competitive, and we look for students with strong academic preparation, intellectual ability, and leadership potential, as well as students who will be active and engaged in the YYGS community. Need-based scholarships are available.
