Media Advisory
Elected officials, faith leaders, activists, and community leaders join forces to protest and say NO to Donald Trump
For more than a year, Presidential candidate Donald Trump has been spreading hate on the campaign trail. His hateful messages have targeted specific communities, but aim to create division in all communities.
Please join us on the anniversary of the March on Washington, as we come together in a peaceful demonstration as a community, and stand against hate. We will say no to the call for violence, hate, and exclusion that candidate Trump continues to advocate for, and instead we will offer a prayer to promote peace, and ask for tolerance, and a discussion that includes practical solutions to the challenges facing America.
What: Protest against Donald Trump
Who: Elected officials, faith leaders, activists, and community leaders
Where: 12th and Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington DC (site of future Trump Hotel)
When: Sunday, August 28th 2016, 2:00pm - 4:00pm
