DC Health Link 2018 Open Enrollment Day Kickoff and Health Fair

Saturday, November 4, 2017

11:00 am – 2:00 pm

(Children's activities begin at 10:30 am)

Details. The Open enrollment kickoff and health fair, which will  be a family / community fall style festival will take place both indoor and outdoor. At noon, U.S. Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (confirmed) along with some DC Councilmembers (all invited) will kick off the activities and speak to the need to enroll in and renew coverage.  Mayor Bowser is scheduled to stop by around 2 pm. The event will include onsite enrollment, health screenings, children's play, moon bounce, local entertainment, celebrity athletes, a remote radio broadcast and more. After the event, DC Health Link assisters and volunteers will form street teams and engage in door-to-door canvassing in the nearby neighborhoods with the most likely uninsured
