[WardFive] Puerto Rico events, Muslin Ban march, other events...

The challenges we face today are plenty, but we are determined to keep our country moving in the right direction.  DC Statehood continues to enjoy widespread support, with more support in the US Congress than it has ever had.  Our focus to bring equality to nearly 700,000 residents in our Nation's Capital never stops, and we will continue to pursue Republican members of Congress co-sponsorship of our DC Statehood Bill.

My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the victims and families of the horrific Las Vegas shooting.  And yes, we will continue to demand more gun control laws, as long as over 30,000 lives are lost to firearms in this country, every year.

I also continue to pray for the people of Mexico, Texas, Florida, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.   Please donate.  There are a couple of events taking place tonight to help Puerto Rico; please join us, if you can, see below.

I continue to be disappointed with the Administration's handling of DACA.  It is important that we unite and fight this administration's irrational position on young new Americans that are a great asset to our society.  The DREAMers are part of America, and America will stand with them.  Let's work together to do the right thing for our future leaders.

I look forward to seeing some of you at some of the events below.

Thank you.
