Hey Friends,
--
-- I was recently contacted by a local photographer, Bill MacFarland, who is interested in nature conservation activities, and lends and sells his photos for such purposes. His website is here: https://macfarlandphoto.net/
He would like to do a photo shoot of kayakers enjoying the Potomac, some play, some surfing, etc. He asked me if I could help set it up.
I suggested we meet at Lock 5 this Saturday 28th at 10 AM. He can walk down to the overlook to set up a photo shoot, while the kayakers head up and then come down the river from Z-channel as usual. I figure we should get to the MD side of LF at about 10:45, when he will be ready.
The kicker is that he asks that any kayakers that are willing to let their photos be used for his work (including commercial purposes) please sign a waiver.
So, please let me know - or just come on down - to LF on Saturday morning and be willing to sign a waiver and have some fun kayaking the MD side of LF.
You in?
Thanks all,
Jen
