For tomorrow, please meet Bobby & Tom at Great Falls, VA. O-Deck is in so we can have some fun a little further upstream! When you pull into Great Falls Virginia, take the immediate right and park in the lot there, I think they call it the climbers parking lot. Please be geared up and ready to go at 9. We will hike down the hill to Fishermans so be sure to wear some good shoes. No shuttle will be needed.

There is some space in the Yough trips tomorrow and Monday, lead by Steve-O. If you plan to get on the Yough, please sign up. People outside of training can contact us to join as well.

Thank you for doing rain dances! The river is coming up and we couldn't be more excited to step up our training! We are going to be meeting on typical weeknights again this week, think about the rain for kayaking, as snow is for skiing. I do recommend wearing earplugs, as there will be a lot of run off and I know folks have been getting ear infections lately. I wear Surf Ears, they are great!

This week we are going to be focusing on conditioning in slalom gates, working on precise moves through the gates, boofing into eddies, and then a little falls run at these high flows. Please park at lock 5 for weeknights and the local run this weekend, but meet the crew on the feeder canal. 

This weekend we are going to have two groups one on the Upper Yough with me and another local workout led by Bobby, meet at 9am on feeder. If you want to go to the Upper this weekend then you need to let us know by Wednesday morning or we are going to open up the remaining spots to the general public.
