I needed to make sure you heard this, PIERPONT.   Very quietly and suddenly, the White House pressured the CDC to change their guidelines on COVID-19 testing this week — without the consent of Dr. Fauci:     The CDC is buckling under the political pressure of the Trump Administration. They have now determined that if you are exposed to someone with the coronavirus, you are not required to quarantine or get a test unless you have symptoms — even though asymptomatic people can spread the virus.   The White House waited to get the Coronavirus Taskforce to sign off on these changes until a time when Dr. Fauci could not attend the meeting. When asked about these new changes, Dr. Fauci said: "I was under general anesthesia in the operating room and was not part of any discussion or deliberation regarding the new testing recommendations."   The CDC has been corrupted by the Trump Administration, and this dangerous politicization of the CDC could cost even more lives.   Our American institutions, our government, and our health are all at risk of falling to Trump's corruption if we allow him to win a second term.
