With 1 ft. level on the bridge and about 800 cfs in the river, there
should be enough water to paddle the Cheat this weekend. Some places
will be scrapey, but there will be an opportunity for newbies to run
all the rapids and learn the lines. I have run the river to as low
as .5 ft, and even that level was possible and fun.
So, hang in there everyone, we will have a good day Saturday, and
you will come away with better knowledge of the Cheat River.
See you Saturday. - Tom
