[WardFive] Drew Hubbard Endorsement

Asalaam Alaikum Neighbors (peace be upon you),

The constituents of Ward 5 made it overwhelmingly clear that we expect our next councilmen to restore integrity to the Ward 5 seat and to protect/enhance our quality of life, therefore I am delighted to join forces with other residents by announcing my endorsement for Mr. Drew Hubbard, candidate for the Ward 5 DC Council seat.

Ward 5 residents deserve a representative that is not a neophyte to the legislative process or issues before the DC Council, but an individual that possess legislative experience working with the City Council and NGOs. We owe it to ourselves to elect a candidate that will engage enthusiastically and empathetically with the neighborhood communities to learn, understand and act upon issues of concern, and most importantly someone that would place "service before self" - hitting the ground running to address the issues in our Ward in contrast to being a purchased puppet wasting at least twelve months playing catch up to his/her colleagues on the council.

While the other candidates have attractive characteristics that would make them stand out among the crowd if this was a High School popularity contest (Homecoming King/Queen, Mr./Ms.Congeniality, Most Spirited etc.), but it is not! If you maneuver through the superficial, popularity propaganda, Drew Hubbard is the best equipped candidate
to represent our ward come May 15th.

I am confident Drew's professional experience as a former Congressional Staffer for Hon. Earl Hilliard, Opposition Researcher for the Democratic National Committee, Legislative Director for At-Large Councilmember K. Brown, Congressional Liaison in the DC Office of Policy and Legislative for Mayor A. Williams, and Director for the DC Council Committee on Housing and Workforce Development for M. Barry and M. Brown will help restore residents trust in elected officials (Real Commitment, Real Experience, Real Results)!

Salaam,
Ra
