DC VOICE
To Inform and Mobilize....

Dear Faith,

This evening, DC VOICE is hosting the first of two identical community meetings to release and discuss our High School Student Testing Project and this Fall's Ready Kids Project

Tonight, January 31st at 6pm

1918 Martin Luther King Ave. SE

Please click here to RSVP

Light refreshments will be served

The Testing Project assesses the impact of standardized tests on high school students and recent graduates.  DC VOICE sought to ascertain how the administration of standardized tests affects student attitudes towards school and learning.  The Ready Kids Project looks at the readiness of our young children for kindergarten through interviews with kindergarten teachers and school counselors across the city. This was done in partnership with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and includes findings and a presentation from Education professors at American and Howard Universities.

The DC VOICE Board of Directors will be on hand to discuss immediate action steps stemming from this and other important DC VOICE work.

Next Thursday, February 7th at 6pm

Busboys and Poets

2021 14th Street, NW | 14th & V Streets
