We are meeting tomorrow morning at the Gaithersburg Park and Ride at 6:30 am.
The Cheat is just below 5 ft now and is predicted to rise. If it is over 5.2 ft, we will not run the Canyon. Some other rivers we may run instead are The Dryfork of the Cheat or the Laurel Fork. Please meet at the Cheat put-in in Albright at 10:30 am. Do not run shuttle ahead of time. We will check the level at the bridge and decide what to run.
You may want to bring your creek boat tomorrow but you do not have to. All of these runs will be fine in a long boat, too.
