John I think we all miscalculated - the Cheat was rolling along at a sweet level just above 3' but when we got to the putin the bridge was 4' and the online gauge was rising straight up @6" per hour and the rafting company was saying it might crest at 7' so Tom pulled the plug on the Canyon and we had a nice day on the Dry Fork.
