Late this afternoon, while at 441-4th St NW (Judiciary Sq) to get a feel for how the early voting was going, I talked with Mr. Budoo, DC BOEE, who informed that BOEE was able to obtain restricted parking for Early Voting in the 300 Block of D Street NW, which is on the same side of the block where the entrance to do Early Voting is located. It is orange coned off. A voter will be able to park, and go in and vote only for this purpose! If someone brings the voter, they can also park and sit in the car only for this purpose.
There is NO CURBSIDE EARLY VOTING, but if a sr. citizen or someone with a disability who is able to walk the short ramp to the entrance for Early Voting, this is a wonderful opportunity. BOEE doesn't expect heavy voting volume until this Friday and Saturday.
