NOTICE OF ELECTION

Nominations for Officers for the Ward 5 Dems Officers

DEADLINE: Submit Nominations by Wednesday, June 17, 2015

 

The Ward 5 Democrats Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for the office of Chair, 1^st Chair, 2^nd Chair, 3^rd Chair, Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Recording Secretary, Correspondence Secretary, and Assistant Recording Secretary. Nominations are sought from persons living in Ward 5.  A total of nine positions will be voted upon.

Members (Registered Ward 5 Democrats) who wish to put forth a nomination should submit the following information for each nominee:

 

• Nominee’s full name, address, phone number, email, and the office for which they are being nominated;
• 1-page biographical sketch highlighting the nominee’s qualifications (including education, employment, professional emphasis, other activities, and honors, awards, and recognitions);
• A one hundred and fifty (150) words (maximum) statement of why the nominee wants to serve as a Ward 5 officer at this time (including nominee’s qualities, skills, and passions);
• A statement from the nominee consenting to the nomination and asserting his/her willingness to serve

 

Each nomination shall be listed on the ballot to elect officers of the Ward 5 Democrats to be held on Monday, June 22, 2015, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.  The Rules of the Day will be read at the beginning of the meeting before the election.  The preferred method of submission for nomination packets is via Email with the above information submitted as attachment(s) in a PDF.
