The Ward Five Council of Education would like to invite you to our first community meeting of the 2015-2016 school year! We have an exciting year planned with great guest speakers. This month will feature speakers from Office of Engagement, DC Student Advocate Office, and the Ombudsman Office. Please note that our meeting will take place at Brookland Middle School.
We will also be accepting NEW membership applications. All new members will receive official membership materials on their second meeting.
We hope to see you there!

The Council provides a forum for community stakeholders to share and resolve issues surrounding Ward 5 schools and works closely with the District of Columbia's education community to ensure that the quality of public schools – both traditional and charter – is exactly what Ward 5 students, parents, and the community at large deserves.
