“Continuing the Journey towards Parliamentary Excellence”

Would you like to learn more about how to conduct effective committee and board meetings?   This forum would be a wonderful opportunity for you to do just that.

On Saturday, October 24, 2015, The District of Columbia Association of Parliamentarians is celebrating its 47th Annual Parliamentary Law Day Observance, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  This observance will be held at the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority House, 4411 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC  20011.  Parking is available in the surrounding community.

The event will feature three presenters:  Mona Calhoun, Professional Registered Parliamentarian, (PRP) who will present information on “What Should be Placed in an Organization’s Bylaws vs. Standing Rules”; John Tatum, Professional Registered Parliamentarian, will enlighten the audience on “How to Prepare for a Board Meeting”; and Marjorie Vaughn, Professional Registered Parliamentarian will inform us about “Preparing Minutes”.

Come and join interested participants from the Washington Metropolitan Area and help us to celebrate our 47th Annual Parliamentary Law Day Observance.
