SEVERE WEATHER ADVISORY NOTICE

 

SUSPENSION OF WORK IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA Attention: Private Users of Public Space

 

Potential for Heavy Rainfall and High Winds

Effective: 3:30PM October 2^nd through close of business October 5th

 

Due to the potential for Severe Heavy Rainfall and High Winds, the District Department of Transportation, Public Space Regulation Administration will suspend all work in the District of Columbia for private users of the Public Space effective close of business on Friday, October 2^nd through the close of business on October 5th.  All active work zones in the District must be secured including fences, signs, and materials that can be disturbed due to high winds and flooding.  All Gutter-Buddies must be removed from catch basins during this weather event.

This suspension includes, no commercial vehicles permitted to enter or exit work zones; no excavations, no temporary traffic control setup is permitted during this suspension period.
