· The DC Council will hold a public hearing TOMORROW in the John A. Wilson building room 500 at 10:30am in support of the "Statehood or Else" campaign-headed by Councilmember Vincent Orange. The initiative aims to bring awareness of DC Statehood by collecting over 1 million signatures in favor of DC Statehood from people all over the nation. These signatures will be delivered to the President, The US Congress, the DNC and the RNC, demanding equality for the citizens of the District of Columbia. I will testify. If you can't make it, you can watch the hearing on-line at: http://dccouncil.us/videos/
· The November edition of the DC Statehood Today TV Show, will air on November 1st. This month's episode includes exclusive interviews from the members of the DC Statehood advocacy groups Disrupt DC and Free DC, as well as a one-on-one with DC Senator Michael Brown. You can watch it on DCTV's cable channels; check your listings for air time.
· Be sure to also catch the new edition of the DCiReporter on DCTV. Topics covered include, the One Million Man March 20th Anniversary (both Mayor Bowser and Councilmember Orange gave strong pro-DC Statehood speeches), and a special feature of the Richard Wright School for Journalism and Media Arts Public Charter school.
