| If you are a high school junior as well as either a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, then you can apply! Students chosen to participate through the highly competitive selection process generally excel in math and science and have a strong academic record. Check out the Application Checklist and last year's application webinar to find out how to apply. Program costs are generously covered by our funders. Admitted students pay only for transportation to and from MIT.
Engineering Experience at MIT (E2@MIT) In this one-week summer program, students take an intensive, project-based courses, receive college admissions and financial aid advice, and participate in lab tours and social events. This six-week summer program immerses students in life at MIT through math and science courses, a challenging hands-on elective course, admissions counseling sessions, lab tours, and social events. Students in this innovative online program discuss research, receive admissions and financial aid advice, and attend webinars.
