[WardFive] Ward 5 announcements - High School Scholarship and UDC Program

Good afternoon everyone –

Happy New Year and I hope you had a joyous holiday season. I am writing to share two important opportunities that Councilmember McDuffie is asking you to distribute to your networks.

1. This Thursday, January 12^th is the last day to register for UDC’s College Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning classes which are offered free to DC residents.

2. H Street Community Development Corporation has released the application for its John A. Wilson Scholarship program. They are $10,000 scholarships offered to DC public high school graduates with a preference for residents of Wards 5, 6 and 7.
