Registration for DPR's Summer Programs Begins May 15 DPR Customer Service: (202) 673-7647 DPR Media Contacts: Gwendolyn Crump (202) 288-6027, gwendolyn.crump@dc.gov (WASHINGTON, DC) – The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced today that registration for the 2017 summer programs offered at DPR will begin at 6:30 am on Monday, May 15, 2017. From learn to swim classes to tennis; to fitness programs such as aerobics and Zumba; to educational programs such as gardening, there are varied options for DC residents to play, learn, or experience leisure activities. DPR offers a variety of programs and activities for all ages! Links to register for programs will become live with programming information on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 6:30 am. To see a full listing of programs, go directly to the A to Z ASAP Program Index page for the entire list of summer programs, activities and classes offered. To register for a program, an ASAP account must be created first for each program participant enrolled. About DPR The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) provides quality urban recreation and leisure services for residents and visitors to the District of Columbia. DPR supervises and maintains area parks, community facilities, swimming pools and spray parks, and neighborhood recreation centers. The agency also coordinates a wide variety of recreation and educational programs including sports leagues, youth development, therapeutic recreation, aquatic programming, outdoor adventure, camping, and senior citizen activities.
