RE: cheat_training_group moonlight paddle - Friday July 6th? 8 PM?

But, if we start at 8 PM, we still have almost an hour of sunlight, so we should be pretty far up by then…. Yes, I want to witness John Munnell navigating a craft with his lovely wife.  I am not brave enough to do that with my wife.

I think we're in. Yes, we...if I can sort some details, this will be the maiden voyage of a new boat --- and Sandy's first river trip. Be afraid...be very afraid. (I am ;-)

HOWEVER, looking at the moonrise calendar, it appears that the moon is not rising until 10:30 on Friday. ;-(   So we'll spend a fair bit of time in relative darkness, though many of us know that isn't too bad. Not sure what the newbies may think...

July 3 would be ideal --- but sounds like that doesn't work with all schedules.

Thoughts?
JOHN

Bill, what a treat it will be to have Toni out with us too. Yay! I

My wife, Toni, and I are probably yes for this. Toni is a little

probably will walk over rocks at the chutes.

Dear Cheat gang,

What about Friday, July 6th for a moonlight paddle together? It will

be very close to a full moon that evening, and i'm predicting hot

weather (based on nothing but a wish and a prayer) so the evening

paddle will feel good. Maybe meeting at Anglers (parking ONLY in the

UPPER lots) around 8 PM (post-traffic) for an attainment together, and

then a float down the gorge. Probably getting off the water around 10

PM. Will that work with people?

:). Does this work with you?)
