cheat_training_group Re: Wanting to borrow a shredder

 Question about Cheat race registration, I registered and paid online, but I haven't recieved any confirmation email, is that normal? do I need to call to confirm?  thanks

I have been attaining regularly, but going out with my race-partner instead of LAKS. We are going to be racing a very leaky K2 topo duo. But, even with a leaky boat, just letting you know that yesterday (Sunday, Po at 4.6) we made it ALL the way from Anglers to O-Deck without any portages. We made the complete portage of both back-channel up by Rocky, and of Portage Rapid. If the Cheat were an attainment race, I think we'd be a contender!

Also, looking to borrow a shredder so that I can take Mike down the river the day after the race, so if anyone as a loaner available, please let me know. Willing to compensate with either beer, cash, or a dog. Or all three.

This is our last week of Cheat Training! Stay sharp by coming to the attainment.  There is not an official attainment next week but feel free to paddle upstream and get ready for the race.

If you are considering entering the race for your first time, I recommend studying the order of the rapids and testing yourself when we get on the Cheat on Saturday.  It really helps to know exactly where you are at all times during the race.  There will not be any instructor-lead groups on the day of the race.

LAKS will have a booth at cheat fest- stop by and say hi!
